From 21st October to 23rd October in 2022, Vietnam Airlines has supported the APBA (Asia Prevention of Blindness Association) medical team in conveying about 450kg of luggage, machinery, and medical supplies to bear with charity eye surgeries for people with disabilities in a problematic situation at the General Hospital of Bu Dop District, Binh Phuoc Province, City. Ho Chi Minh. The project's results are incredibly commendable when bringing light to 100 patients. While bringing light to people, the delegation also carried out the mission of training modern eye surgery techniques for young local doctors.
APBA Association is a Japanese non-profit organization established on March 30, 2005, with headquarters in Kyoto, Japan. Since its operation in Vietnam on April 27, 2020, APBA has brought light to more than 20,000 patients. The Association's contributions have been recognized by the State of Vietnam and international organizations, such as the Medal "For People's Health" awarded by the Ministry of Health, the highest "Friendship" medal for foreigners who have contributed to the Vietnamese nation, the Nobel Prize in Asia Ramon Magsaysay Awards…
