Your membership tier, from Silver to Million Miler, determines the level of benefits you receive, with each tier offering enhanced rewards and services.

Lotusmiles Silver

Silver members enjoy preferential prices upon advance seat purchase and seat confirmation priority when Vietnam Airlines exchanges flights. Learn more about the benefits for Silver Members.

You need to accumulate a minimum of 1 qualifying mile to become a Silver member. This tier card has no expiry date.

Lotusmiles Titanium

When a member owns a Titanium card, the member will have priority check-in at the airport and additional checked baggage beyond the standard. Learn more about the benefits for Titanium Members.

To own a Titanium card, a member is required to accumulate 15,000 qualifying miles or 18 qualifying segments in a qualifying period (12 consecutive months from the date of card confirmation). Vietnam Airlines' Titanium tier card is valid for 12 months from the qualified date and is equivalent to SkyTeam's Elite tier card.

Lotusmiles Gold

A member is required to accumulate 30,000 qualifying miles or 27 qualifying segments in a qualifying period (12 consecutive months from the date of card confirmation) to become a Gold member. Vietnam Airlines' Gold tier card is valid for 12 months from the qualified date and is equivalent to SkyTeam's Elite tier card.

Lotusmiles Platinum

A member is required to accumulate 50,000 qualifying miles or 45 qualifying segments in a qualifying period (12 consecutive months from the date of card confirmation) to become a Platinum member. Vietnam Airlines' Platinum tier card is valid for 12 months from the qualified date and is equivalent to SkyTeam's Elite Plus tier card.

Lotusmiles Million Miler

This is the highest status that Vietnam Airlines would like to reward those that fly so frequently with Vietnam Airlines and contribute the most to us, with outstanding and exclusive benefits entitled for the member. Learn more about the benefits for Million Milers.

A member is required to accumulate 1 million qualifying miles or more on Vietnam Airlines flights (VN-coded flights operated by Vietnam Airlines; Tickets purchased in Economy Classic class or above for international routes, and in Economy Flex class or above for domestic routes within Vietnam; Promotional miles are not included) to become a Million Miler. 

Vietnam Airlines' Million Miler tier card has lifetime validity and is equivalent to SkyTeam's Elite Plus tier card.

Reduced Tier Qualification Criteria for Members Aged 60 and Above

Members aged 60 and above are eligible for a 20% reduction in the qualification criteria for Platinum, Gold, and Titanium tiers. To receive this benefit, members should email the Lotusmiles Program with 1) their membership number and 2) a photo of their ID card or passport attached from their Lotusmiles-registered email address.

Notes:

• After completing a flight, the member's account will be credited with the earned qualifying miles or qualifying segments. Qualifying segments must meet the eligibility criteria to earn miles, including flights operated by Vietnam Airlines or SkyTeam alliance airlines.
• To maintain card tier status, members need to accumulate enough qualifying miles or qualifying segments corresponding to each card tier during the qualifying period. A qualifying period will be 12 consecutive months from the date a card tier is confirmed. Learn more about the terms and conditions and numerous attractive benefits when becoming a Lotusmiles member.
• In addition to accumulating flight miles, members can buy miles and receive miles from promotional programs or when there is a separate notice from Vietnam Airlines.
• If a member fails to meet the criteria for the current tier status, the membership tier will be downgraded to a lower tier according to the accumulated qualifying miles and segments.
• Lotusmiles members may upgrade the card tier from partners by using the services of our partners, including but not limited to the Lotusmiles Pay Card, Vietcombank, Techcombank, VPBank, VietinBank, VIB, Standard Chartered, Sacombank, and MobiFone.
• Lotusmiles members residing outside of Vietnam can also status match  their current tier of another airline's frequent flyer program to the equivalent Lotusmiles tier, and status boost  their qualifying miles to quickly reach higher tiers.
