Advance Seat Selection

Under Vietnam Airlines policy, advance seat selection service is not refundable.

Depending on the fare type, you may be able to select your seat for free or be charged a fee. Please learn more about seat pre-selection.

You can perform in the following ways:

• During the process of Booking on the Vietnam Airlines website/app;
• If you already have tickets, you can access the "Manage Booking" section on the Vietnam Airlines website to select seats and make the payment; 
• Or contact Vietnam Airlines sales offices or agents. 

A booked seat is valid only for the selected flight. When you need to change your flight, you can perform the following:

1. In case of pre-selection of seats via the Vietnam Airlines website/app:

• Step 1: Access Manage Booking on the Vietnam Airlines website/app, select the Pre-select seat function to buy a new seat at the same or a higher fee;
• Step 2: Contact the Contact Center via email onlinesupport@vietnamairlines.com to get a refund for the purchased services within 14 days after completing the final flight.

2. If you have pre-selected seats through a ticket office or an agent, please contact the seller for assistance.

Yes. If traveling with children under 2 years old, passengers can only choose seats with child oxygen masks.

1. Priority seat:

• A320/321 aircraft: 03 front rows in Economy class section;
• A350/B787 aircraft: 02 front rows in Economy class section;
• ATR aircraft: The last 03 back rows in the Economy class section.

2. Wide legroom seat: emergency exit row seats.

3. Front seats (aisle/middle/window): seats at the front cabin of the aircraft.

4. Standard seats (aisle/center/window): seats in the rear cabin of the aircraft.
