Hanoi, March 31, 2020 – As requested by authorities and to curb the spread of Covid-19, Vietnam Airlines will continue to reduce the number of domestic Vietnam flights in the period between 1st and 15th April, 2020:

- Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh city: 01 round trip per day.
- Hanoi – Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh city – Da Nang: 01 round trip per day.
- Other domestic routes: temporarily suspended until further notice.

The flight schedule is subject to change depending on actual operational circumstances. Vietnam Airlines will support passengers affected by COVID-19 regarding flight date and itinerary changes as per its policies.

All flight crews, including pilots, flight attendants, and technical staff members, are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) such as protective overalls, gloves, masks, and safety glasses. Measurement of body temperature and electronic health declaration are required of all passengers and flight crews before embarkation, while adequate physical distance is maintained between seats aboard. All passengers are kindly requested to wear masks during their flights and will be denied boarding if suspected of COVID-19 infection.

Starting 0:00 the 25th of March, all Vietnam Airlines' aircraft serving domestic routes  have been disinfected upon landing in Hanoi, Danang, and Ho Chi Minh City, plus all aircraft operated during the day will be disinfected once more at the end of the day.
