The Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum is not just an ordinary art exhibition space, but also the result of a long and dedicated journey by French photographer Réhahn Croquevielle. The gallery showcases emotional photographic works that authentically and vividly capture the cultural beauty and people of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. The museum officially opened in 2017, marking a significant milestone in Réhahn's career and in the effort to preserve Vietnam's fading cultural values.
To capture those deeply moving moments, Réhahn spent many years living and experiencing life with ethnic communities across the country. It was his sincerity and respect for the local culture that enabled him to obtain the most authentic footage of Vietnamese. One of Réhahn's globally renowned works is the photograph 'Hidden Smile' of Mrs. Xong, which has been featured in numerous prestigious international newspapers including New York Weekly, BBC, etc.
It was also this profound love for Vietnam and the concern over the potential loss of certain traditional cultural aspects that motivated Réhahn to establish the Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum. He wanted to create a space where his photographs could tell inspiring stories of the Vietnamese people and culture to the world, which help other visitors learn and appreciate the invaluable cultural heritage of Vietnam.
