Online check-in

Online check-in is available on domestic and international flights operated by Vietnam Airlines Group including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vasco.

How to check-in online

Passengers with valid tickets and confirmed seats can check-in their flights by accessing Check-in section on Vietnam Airlines’ website or mobile app. After completing online check-in procedures, passengers download their boarding pass as PDF or Passbook to their mobile phone and present boarding pass at the airport.

Check-in time

Passengers check-in online for their flights from 24 hours to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.

At airport

  • For domestic flights, passengers note the following information:
    • If not having checked baggage, passengers go directly to the security area.
    • If having checked baggage, passengers go to the baggage check-in counter or check-in counter at the airport.
  • For international flights to/from airports in Vietnam and foreign countries, whether having checked baggage or not, passengers are required to be at airport check-in counters to show other identification documents and have boarding passes printed out. Please be at our check-in counters before closing time.

Some notes when proceeding check-in

  • Due to technical limitations, online check-in is only accepted at certain domestic and international airports. Please find out more information at our List of Airports Where Online Check-in is allowed. In case passengers departing from the airport where online check-in is not supported, please check in at Vietnam Airlines' kiosk or at airport check-in counters.
  • Online check-in is not available for the following passengers:
    • Passengers requesting special services (except for special meal services).
    • Passengers traveling with children under the age of two.
    • Passengers traveling on flights operated by other airlines (except for airlines belonging to Vietnam Airlines Group including Vasco and Pacific Airlines).
  • Check-in can be proceeded each time for a maximum of 9 passengers. If a booking has more than 9 passengers, please check-in online multiple times for passengers in the same booking reference.
  • If you have checked in online to pre-reserve your seat and would like to change your flight plan, you can cancel your check-in at Manage Booking or contact our Customer Care Center at phone number 19001100 or email to onlinesupport@vietnamairlines.com.
  • If there are multiple e-tickets for the same itinerary in the same PNR, please check in at the airport.
