According to Charles-de-Gaulle Airport authority, airlines with more than five departures/landings on 5 December must reduce their flight frequency by 20%, focused mainly on the morning hours. Vietnam Airlines will operate flights to/from Paris as scheduled, but passengers on connecting flights within France may be affected due to schedule adjustments from other airlines.

Particularly, passengers of Vietnam Airlines traveling on flight VN19 from Hanoi to Paris on the night of 4 December – with connecting flights to other destinations within France on 5 December – might experience difficulties in traveling on their succeeding flights. At the same time, passengers taking domestic flights in France to Charles-de-Gaulle Airport and then transferring on to Hanoi via flight VN18 on 5 December may also be affected.

Vietnam Airlines suggests that passengers currently planning to transfer at Charles-de-Gaulle Airport regularly monitor the latest information from the airlines to make any necessary adjustments to their itineraries.
