Hanoi, 8 August 2019 – Vietnam Airlines regrets to announce that due to the impact of tropical storm Lekima in Taiwan, we will reschedule flights departing to/from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport from 8 to 10 August 2019.

Accordingly, flights VN578 Hanoi - Taipei, VN570 Ho Chi Minh City - Taipei on 8 August; flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei VN571, VN576, VN577, VN579 on 9 August will be cancelled.

Flights departing from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Taipei on the evening of 9 August will be postponed until morning of 10 August. VN578 will depart from Hanoi at 2:30AM on Airbus A350 instead of Airbus A321. VN570 will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 5:00AM on 10 August. Vietnam Airlines will deploit Airbus A350 with larger capacity instead of A321 on VN572, VN571 to accomodate all passengers travelling between Ho Chi Minh City - Taipei on 10 August.

Passengers travelling to/from Taipei are advised to update latest information pertaining to the weather and flight status and reschedule travel plan accordingly.
