Implementing the relevant authorities' direction on COVID-19 prevention as well as to ensure effective isolation, Vietnam Airlines makes the following announcement: Starting March 1, Vietnam Airlines passengers from South Korea to Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat airport (Ho Chi Minh City) will be rerouted to land at Van Don (Quang Ninh) and Can Tho airport respectively. Before entering Vietnam, all passengers on these flights will have to undergo mandatory health checks and isolation for 14 days at locations arranged by Vietnamese regulators.
Vietnam Airlines passengers who took flights from or transited through Italy or Iran within 14 days prior will also be isolated for 14 days before entering Vietnam.
