Ha Noi, October 28, 2016 - Vietnam Airlines would like to announce that a number of passengers fell ill on flight VN300 earlier today from Ho Chi Minh City to Narita (Tokyo, Japan), right after the plane took off. Vietnam Airlines is doing all it can to assist the affected passengers.
Until now, 33 out 34 affected passengers have been discharged from hospital. The airplane was examined by Japanese authorities and allowed to resume normal operation, and is on its way returning to Vietnam.
Vietnam Airlines is cooperating with Japanese authorities and relevant agencies to investigate this case.
Flight VN300 was operated by a Boeing 787 airplane with registered code VNA-866, took off at 00:35 in Ho Chi Minh City and landed in Narita Airport at 07:45 (local time).
