The Vietnam Airlines Company Limited (Vietnam Airlines) announces that it will operate services at the new terminal T1 of the Yangon International Airport (Myanmar) from the date of June 28^th 2016. Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines passengers traveling to/from Yangon International Airport will carry out airport procedures, get/send luggage and leave/board at Terminal 1 instead of the old Terminal (T2). This change will help Vietnam Airlines improve its service quality, take advantage of modern equipment and large capacity of the new terminal which has been put into operation since 2016.

To ensure a smooth travel for passengers during the time we undertake the change of airport terminal, Vietnam Airlines will work in close collaboration with catering companies and airport authorities to provide support and guidance for passengers to move into the new terminal.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 10 weekly flights between Vietnam and Myanmar, including 05 weekly flights between Hanoi and Yangon, 05 weekly flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Yangon. All are operated by Airbus - A321 (184 seats).
