Hanoi, October 22, 2017 – Due to the impact of typhoon LAN in Japan, Vietnam Airlines has adjusted its flight operations in relations to the route between Vietnam and Japan on October 22 and 23, 2017.
Departure time of the following flights will be delayed for 1 hour and 40 minutes up to 2 hours and 30 minutes:
- VN310, VN300 (between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo Narita)
- VN330, VN320 (between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City and Osaka)
Departure time of flight VN346 from Hanoi to Nagoya will be delayed for 6 hours.
On October 23, due to chain reaction of delay, flights from Narita (Tokyo) to Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City will also be delayed for 2-2.5 hours, flight from Nagoya to Hanoi will be delayed for 4 hours; other flights between Vietnam and Japan will be unaffected.
Vietnam Airlines sincerely apologizes for this inconvenience. We strongly advise customers departing from/arriving at the Japanese airports during this period to check flight status and weather forecast update to proactively adjust their travel plans.
