Hanoi, February 14th, 2016 – On Valentine’s Day, Vietnam Airlines was honored to be part of a very special occasion, celebrating the 30th wedding anniversary - a pearl wedding for a Malaysian couple, Mr. Daniel F. and Mrs. Linda F. The celebration was held on board of the flight VN684, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Ho Chi Minh city (departing at 12:30 pm and arriving at 1:25pm local time on Feb.14th). The crew members were eager to help with some preparation. Mrs. Linda F. received a rose bouquet, a symbol of love, from her husband. The couple then enjoyed a celebration, including cutting cakes and raising glasses of champagne, receiving wishes from passengers on the flight.

“I contacted Vietnam Airlines asking for some celebration and quickly received the response. I want to bring a surprise to my beloved wife. I imagine the celebration of this pearl wedding would bring back some of her feelings from the very first days. For me, love is the most important thing in life. Many thanks to Vietnam Airlines for the great experience today”, Mr. Daniel F. shared his story.
