How to buy tickets using Cash & Miles

Step 1: Log in your account.

Members can visit vietnamairlines.com, select “Log-in” section at the top right, enter the membership number and password, and click Login.

Step 2: Select to buy tickets using Cash & Miles

After a successful login, at the home page, select “Book A Flight”, then select “Cash & Miles” radio button. With this action, the system will update your payment method by combining cash and miles.

Step 3: Select an itinerary

At the “Flight Search” screen:

  • Select “Round Trip”, “One Way” or “Multiple Destinations” depending on your needs.
  • Continue to select departure, destination, flight dates and number of passengers.
  • After completing selection, click “Find Flight”.

Notes: Payment currency depends on the country/region which you selected. If you want to pay in another currency. Please change the country/region in the toolbar at the top of the home page.

At the “Choose Flights” screen:

  • Select flight time and ticket class: Economy, Premium Economy, or Business (depending on your itinerary), then click the airfare box.
  • The system will display the fare and conditions according to the corresponding class of service. Please select an appropriate fare box.

Notes: The fare displayed includes taxes and fees. If “Cash & Miles” is selected, the fare will display the number of miles required and the remaining amount to be paid.

At the “Passenger Infomation” screen: Check your personal information, contact information so that Vietnam Airlines can contact and send e-tickets to you.

At the “Extras” screen: Select the ancillary services as required and press “Continue”.

At the “Seat selection” screen: You can select seats or skip this step. If seats are not selected, the system will automatically allocate seats within 25 hours before the flight.

Step 4: Payment

At the “Payment” screen:

  • Payment using Cash & Miles method: Move the slider to adjust the amount of Cash & Miles accordingly. The screen will show the miles used and the remaining amount to be paid.
  • Continue to pay the remaining amount in regular forms of payment.

Notes: Accrued miles are not used to pay for taxes, fees and surcharges.

Step 5: Booking confirmation

After the payment is completed, a confirmation of the itinerary and flight ticket information will be sent to your registered email address. If you do not receive an email within 01 hour after successful payment, please contact Lotusmiles support section using the below information.
