1. For AVI-01, live animals being transported with water or emitting too much liquid must be handled as wet cargo (live fish, baby shrimp, etc...), unless their other regulations required by another country.

2. For AVI-03, monkeys under 6 months of age, monkeys for animal experimentation, some breeds of dogs such as Bulldogs, Terriers, Boxers and Pugs are not accepted by Vietnam Airlines.

3. Only live animals in good health and fit for travel to the final destination will be accepted. Pregnant animals are only accepted if a health certificate is available certifying that they are fit to travel without giving birth during transportation.

4. The shipper must arrange in advance with Vietnam Airlines to ensure that the shipment has met the requirements of the live animal regulations of IATA and Vietnam Airlines. Note the following:

• The holds of VNA's aircraft are subject to different temperatures, so we cannot ensure the shipper that a specific temperature will be maintained. Vietnam Airlines will not accept requests for the shipment of live animals that require a constant fixed temperature.
• The shipper must give special care instructions and be responsible for the shipment if it cannot be delivered to the consignee.
