U-Point Conversion Program – Lotusmiles
By participating in the U-Point –Vietnam Airlines redemption program, we understand that you accepted and agreed to abide by the following Terms and Conditions (which may be amended and supplemented from time to time).
I. Definitions:
1. One Mount Group: Refers to One Mount Group Joint Stock Company.
2. OMC: Refers to One Mount Consumer Joint Stock Company.
3. VNA: Refers to Vietnam Airlines Corporation - JSC.
4. Lotusmiles Program (Lotusmiles): The frequent flyer program of VNA.
5. Lotusmiles Member (Member): Members of Lotusmiles Program categorized into Register, Silver, Titan, Gold, Platinum, and Million Miler tiers.
6. Lotusmiles bonus miles: is mile Lotusmiles member from Register and above can earn according to Program Terms and Conditions or followed this T&Cs. This mile is used to get awards, not used to upgrade membership tier.
7. Lotusmiles Member Number: The unique number issued by Lotusmiles for each member.
8. Lotusmiles Center: A branch of Vietnam Airlines Corporation - JSC responsible for managing the Lotusmiles Program.
9. U-Point Program: A program developed by OMC in collaboration with strategic partner Techcombank (TCB) and other partners to reward and care for customers participating in the program.
10. U-Point Account: A customer-specific account on OMC's implementation channels that tracks points, transactions, and benefits earned through the U-Point Program.
11. U-Points: The unit for vouchers issued by OMC with specified usage and expiration per these Terms and Conditions. U-Points may also represent loyalty points earned through TCB’s customer care programs, converted into voucher values. These points can be used for goods or services provided or distributed by OMC.
12. Customer: Any participant in both the U-Point and Lotusmiles Programs. The customer holds a U-Point Account and a Lotusmiles membership, enabling them to convert U-Points into Lotusmiles Bonus Miles and vice versa under these Terms and Conditions.
13. Available Points: Points eligible for use after the account verification process is completed. Verification instructions are sent to the customer’s registered email address.
II. General Provisions
1. Conversion of U-Points to Lotusmiles Bonus Miles:
1.1. Customers holding U-Points can convert points into Lotusmiles Bonus Miles at the conversion rate of:
297 U-Points = 1 Lotusmile Bonus Mile.
1.2. The Bonus Miles converted from U-Points are for redemption only and cannot be used to upgrade Lotusmiles membership tiers.
1.3. The Bonus Miles mentioned above will be valid for the same period as the miles purchased directtly from Lotusmiles program. Once credited successfully to your Lotusmiles account, the bonus miles are availble to use according to Lotusmiles T&Cs.
1.4. The conversion rate of U-Points to Lotusmiles Bonus Miles may change periodically as agreed between VNA and OMC. Any changes will be communicated to U-Point Account holders appropriately.
1.5. The Bonus Miles can only be credited to the customer’s own Lotusmiles account. Membership verification will be based on the member’s name and Lotusmiles Member Number.
1.6. Successfully converted U-Points cannot be refunded, canceled, or exchanged.
2. Conversion of Lotusmiles Bonus Miles to U-Points:
2.1. Lotusmiles Members can convert Bonus Miles from their accounts into U-Points via VINID points. Using VINID as an intermediary does not affect conversion values or benefits.
1 Lotusmile Reward Mile = 51 U-Points.
Minimum conversion: 3,000 miles per transaction.
Maximum conversion: 100,000 miles per year.
2.2. If the phone number linked to the Lotusmiles membership does not match the one registered in the OMC account, customers must update their phone numbers on VNA’s web/app. Similarly, name discrepancies require updates on the OneU app as per the provided instructions.
2.3. Customers must complete electronic verification (eKYC) on OMC channels or meet OMC’s account verification requirements. Verification involves uploading both sides of the National ID/Chip ID, NFC scanning, and facial recognition.
2.4. U-Points credited through Lotusmiles Bouns Miles conversion are valid per the U-Point Program’s rules. Point availability adheres to U-Point policies effective at the time.
2.5. The conversion rate of Bonus Miles to U-Points may change periodically and will be communicated to Lotusmiles Members accordingly.
2.6. The Bonus Miles converted to U-Points will not count toward membership tier upgrades.
2.7. Successfully converted Bonus Miles cannot be refunded, canceled, or exchanged.
3. Complaints:
3.1. U-Point Complaints:
a) For inquiries or complaints about U-Point crediting or usage, customers must contact OMC for assistance.
b) OMC accepts complaints about uncredited or missing points if submitted within 6 months from the conversion date.
3.2. Bonus Miles Complaints:
a) For inquiries or complaints about Bonus Miles crediting or usage, customers must contact VNA for assistance.
b) VNA accepts complaints about uncredited or missing Bonus Miles if submitted within 6 months from the U-Point-to-Bonus Miles conversion date.
