Standard excess baggage

Passengers can purchase a standard excess baggage piece of no more than 23kg and a total three-dimensional length of no more than 158cm for domestic and international itineraries. The following rates are VAT exclusive.

Oversized piece

An oversized baggage piece has a total three-dimensional length between 158cm and 203cm. The following rates are VAT exclusive.

For tickets issued/exchanged before March 1, 2024, passengers should contact Vietnam Airlines' sales offices/agents to learn about the rates for oversized pieces on domestic and international itineraries.

With regards to tickets issued/exchanged from March 1, 2024

On domestic routes, the oversized baggage rate is VND 800,000 per piece.

On international routes, the oversized baggage rate is as follows:

An overweight baggage piece is between 23kg and 32kg. The following rates are VAT exclusive.

For tickets issued/exchanged before March 1, 2024, passengers should contact Vietnam Airlines' sales offices/agents to learn about the rates for overweight pieces on domestic and international itineraries.

With regards to tickets issued/exchanged from March 1, 2024

On domestic routes, the overweight baggage rate is VND 800,000 per piece.
