"Leaves for Forests 2026" – Joining Hands to Revive the Forests of the Northwest
Not only connecting journeys in the sky, Vietnam Airlines also joins hands to preserve the country's "green lungs." Building on the success of the previous two seasons, the "Leaves for Forests 2026" program aims to restore at least 64 hectares of forest in the Northwest, contributing to biodiversity conservation and spreading a green living spirit to the community.
Each restored forest not only brings new seedlings, but also contributes to retaining water sources for villages, protecting soil from erosion, creating habitats for wildlife, and enhancing climate change resilience. Therefore, every action of joining hands today is a practical contribution to Vietnam's green future.
After two years of implementation, the "Leaves for Forests" program has contributed to restoring 150 hectares of forest and planting more than 95,000 native trees in the Northwest region. Those figures reflect not only the results of a nature conservation campaign, but also serve as proof of the strength of partnership among businesses, conservation organizations, and the community.
Continuing that journey, in 2026, the program aims to restore at least 64 hectares of forest in areas with special biodiversity value in the Northwest. This is the habitat of the White-cheeked Black Crested Gibbon – one of Vietnam's rare primate species – and encompasses forests within the Xuan Nha Nature Reserve and the ecological corridor connecting Van Ho with Hang Kia – Pa Co, playing a crucial role in protecting the ecosystem and maintaining connectivity between wildlife populations.
Each Lát (Chukrasia tabularis), Re (Cinnamomum/Lauraceae), Dổi (Paramichelia baillonii), Cinnamon, or Black Canarium tree planted today will contribute to regenerating healthy native forests in the future. Every joint effort will bring more opportunities for nature to revive while spreading a green living message and environmental responsibility to more people.
Accompanying the program, the community can contribute through simple yet practical actions:
Book Vietnam Airlines tickets on the MoMo app.
Support the campaign through the Charity Wallet (Ví Nhân Ái) on MoMo.
Share information to spread the forest protection message to more people, as every contribution, no matter how small, helps continue the journey to revive the forests of the Northwest, conserve biodiversity, and preserve natural values for future generations.
Let's join hands to "contribute leaves" to "mend the forest," so that the green color continues to spread across the forests of the Northwest and every journey today contributes to creating a sustainable future.
A single leaf may be small, but millions of leaves will create an entire forest.
