Bringing lithium batteries or devices containing lithium batteries on the plane will depend on watt-hour rating (Wh) of lithium-ion battery or weight lithium content (g) of lithium metal battery. Passengers can refer the guideline on lithium battery's acceptance on Vietnam Airlines' flights.

Electronic device containing lithium battery recalled by the manufacturer that has been replaced or repaired by the manufacturer must remain turned off and must not be charged during the flight when it is carried on board.
Portable electronic devices containing lithium metal or lithium ion cells or batteries, including medical devices such as portable oxygen concentrators (POC) and consumer electronics such as watches, calculating machines, cameras, cellular phones, laptop computers, camcorder… will be allowed in the cabin or in checked baggage as the above table.
Wheelchair, mobility aids
Wheelchairs, mobility aids that are powered by lithium batteries and required for use by passengers will be allowed on board as checked-in baggage in conformance to the requirements stated in IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
