Standard excess baggage

Passengers can purchase a standard excess baggage piece of no more than 23kg and a total three-dimensional length of no more than 158cm for domestic and international itineraries. The following rates are VAT exclusive.

On Vietnam domestic routes

The rate for a standard excess baggage piece on Vietnam domestic itineraries: VND 600,000

For tickets issued from October 17, 2025 to December 31, 2025 and flights departing from December 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, the purchasing fee for an additional standard piece of baggage on Vietnam domestic itineraries is VND 800,000.

On international routes

Tickets issued between August 14, 2025 and December 31, 2025

Passengers purchasing baggage at the airport for tickets issued between October 01, 2025 and December 31, 2025, on routes between Vietnam and Japan/South Korea/China/Taiwan/Hong Kong/UK/Germany/France/Italy/Thailand, please refer to the fare table below:

For Vietnam-India itineraries:

• Tickets issued between August 14, 2025 and October 17, 2025: the baggage fee purchased at the airport is USD 440.
• Tickets issued from October 18, 2025: the baggage fee purchased at the airport is USD 200.

Oversized piece

An oversized baggage piece has a total three-dimensional length between 158cm and 203cm. The following rates are VAT exclusive.

On domestic routes, the oversized baggage rate is VND 800,000 per piece.

On international routes, the oversized baggage rate is as follows:

On domestic routes, the overweight baggage rate is VND 800,000 per piece.

On international routes, the overweight baggage rate is as follows:
