Youth of Vietnam Airlines Launch Youth Month and Celebrate Tree Planting Festival in Thai Binh

Recently, the Youth Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, along with youth unions from various central government ministries, participated in the “Youth Month Launch Ceremony and the 2024 Spring Tree Planting Festival” organized by the Provincial Youth Union and the Thai Binh Provincial Union of Youth Associations.

In 2024, Youth Month will focus on several key tasks: Promoting the role of youth in carrying out projects that contribute to completing political and professional tasks, as well as participating in local socio-economic development; carrying out projects that apply new technologies, engaging in the digital transformation process; volunteering for social welfare, environmental protection, and responding to climate change; implementing youth projects to celebrate the congress of the Youth Union at all levels; supporting youth in entrepreneurship and career development; and caring for and educating children and adolescents.

At the launch program, the Youth Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation coordinated with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Finance and the Youth Union of the National Assembly Office to donate a youth project called “Lighting the Countryside Road” in Dũng Nghĩa Commune, Vũ Thư District, Thai Binh, valued at 60 million VND.

In addition, the youth unions from various ministries and agencies also presented scholarships and gifts to disadvantaged students, as well as youth projects to district and city youth unions. The total amount of resources received and donated during the Youth Month launch event was nearly 3 billion VND.

On this occasion, the Youth Union of Vietnam Airlines also visited and explored historical and revolutionary cultural landmarks in Thai Binh Province, educating the youth about the historical traditions of the nation.

For many years, the activities of the Youth Union of Vietnam Airlines, along with its partner organizations, have contributed greatly to the community. Through these programs, the youth of Vietnam Airlines have strengthened solidarity, built stronger connections, and had opportunities to interact with peers, contributing their energy to the development of the organization, the community, and society.
