Hanoi, 13 March, 2024 – As part of its latest efforts to enhance connectivity with the world’s mesmerizing destinations, Vietnam Airlines will launch its inaugural nonstop flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Munich - Germany's third largest city- in October 2024. This two-times weekly service will depart Hanoi for Munich on Fridays and Sundays, and depart Munich for Hanoi on Mondays and Saturdays, operated by the modern wide-body aircraft Boeing 787.
For Ho Chi Minh City – Munich service, flights will operate from Ho Chi Minh City on Mondays, and Munich on Tuesdays. Additional frequency will be seen from December 2024 with flights departing Ho Chi Minh City and Munich on Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively.
Together with this new addition, Vietnam Airlines will be providing a total of 4 routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Frankfurt and Munich.
Tickets for Vietnam Airlines’ flight to Munich will be made available for sale through Vietnam Airlines website, mobile app, ticket offices and official sales agents.
Munich is an important economic, tourism and transportation center in Germany. This city is also celebrated for its architectural splendor, rich history and cultural heritage. Munich is also known for Oktoberfest - the most famous beer festival in the world held every October.
