Due to the impact of typhoon Prapiroon in the Korean Peninsula area, Vietnam Airlines plans to adjust flight operations from/to Busan airport (Korea) and Fukuoka airport (Japan) on July 3.

Specifically, VNA will cancel 04 flights between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City and Busan, including VN426, VN427, VN422, VN423 on July 3rd; 02 flights between Hanoi and Fukuoka, including VN356, VN357 on July 3. VNA will deploy a compensation flight plan for flights from Vietnam to Busan on the evening of July 3 and the flights from Busan to Vietnam on July 4’s morning. At the same time, the operated aircraft will be changed from Airbus A330 to Airbus A350 with additional seats for affected passengers. For flights from/to Fukuoka Airport, VNA will arrange compensation flights on July 4. Passengers affected by the typhoon will be supported free-of-charge flights the next day.
We are closely monitoring the typhoon Prapiroon for further notices. In addition, we strongly advise customers departing from/to Busan and Fukuoka airport during this period to check flight status and weather forecast update to proactively adjust travel plans.
