Conditions

• For Vietnam domestic flights, passenger who has an Economy Flex ticket with M class can purchase Upgrade service immediately after ticket issuance. Please find more information about non-upgradable periods on Vietnam's domestic flight segments here.
• For international flights, passenger with Economy Flex, Economy Classic, Premium Economy Flex or Premium Economy Classic can purchase Upgrade service immediately after ticket issuance. Please find more information about non-upgradable periods on international flight segments here.
• If the desired seat is available, the upgrade service will be confirmed at the purchase time.

Guides for purchasing an Upgrade service 

• Passengers can purchase Upgrade services via one of the following channels:
1. Website or Mobile App;
2. Domestic or internal sales office branches;
3. Vietnam Airlines agents in Vietnam;
4. Last-minute ticket counters at domestic and international airports.

Note

• Passengers can enjoy the following services under the new service class:
1. Check-in priority;
2. Baggage tag standard and baggage loading priority;
3. Meal service;
4. Priority lane at the airport.
• Passengers can enjoy the following services under the original service class:
  1. Free baggage allowance;
  2. Qualifying miles for Lotusmiles and Frequent Flyer Program members of other VNA airline partners.
• This service is non-refundable and unchangeable.
• Upgrade purchase is not available for the following cases:
  1. Upgrade for children under 2 years old;
  2. Checked-in tickets.
