Germany Authority implements the new immigration policy as of 27JUL22 until next notice:
- Provisionally Germany does NOT recognize the new Vietnamese passport with model 2022 from 01Jul2022. Holders of an old passport (green model) or passengers in possession of a Schengen residence permit are not affected.
- Issuance of German C-/D- visas is currently not possible.
- Schengen partners must exclude Germany from the area of validity for newly issued C-visas.
- With a granted visa of another Schengen partner transit at a German airport (e.g. Frankfurt airport) is NOT possible! This also effects Seafarers.
