Buy Bonus Miles

In case you want to get rewards but you don't have enough miles in your account, you can buy extra bonus miles from the Lotusmiles program.
In addition, you can also buy bonus miles to give to friends and relatives.

The prices applicable from February 15, 2023

  • VND 550,000 for 1,000 miles (The price is in Vietnam and does not include VAT), or
  • USD 25 for 1,000 miles (outside Vietnam)
Conditions :
  • Bonus miles are non-refundable, are valid only for claiming an award, and are not considered qualifying miles
  • Miles are sold in units of 1,000 miles
  • Validity of bonus miles is subject to the rules and conditions of Lotusmiles
  • Price and other conditions may be changed and will be pulished on www.vietnamairlines.com

How To Purchase Bonus Miles
Method 1: Purchase Bonus Miles on www.vietnamairlines.com and mobile app Vietnam Airlines. Log in your account and proceed to buy bonus miles.

Method 2: Purchase Bonus Miles at Vietnam Branch Offices

- Fill in the Purchase Request for Bonus Miles Form.

- Submit the form and pay for the mileage packages at a Vietnam Airlines branch office. Bonus miles will be credited to your account.

Transfer Bonus Miles

Lotusmiles members can transfer bonus miles to friends and relatives for rewards or gifts.

Transfer fee:

  • VND 210,000/1,000 miles (Price is in Vietnam and does not include VAT)
  • USD 10/1,000 miles (outside Vietnam)

Notes: Price is for a 1,000-mile package, including taxes and fees.

Conditions:

  • Requests to transfer miles must be signed by both the giver and the receiver.
  • Mileage recipients will pay the transfer fee and present membership card, ID card or passport of the transferor and recipient at the time of payment.
  • Miles are only valid for rewards and not for qualifying.
  • Transferred miles are non-refundable.

How To Tranfer Bonus Miles

Method 1: Tranfer Bonus Miles on www.vietnamairlines.com and mobile app Vietnam Airlines. Log in your account and proceed to tranfer bonus miles.

Method 2: Tranfer Bonus Miles at Vietnam Branch Offices

- Fill in the Transfer Request for Bonus Miles Form.
- Submit the Form and pay at a Vietnam Airlines branch office.

Extend bonus miles

  • Members can renew the bonus miles that are about to expire within 6 months from the date of renewal.
  • Bonus miles are renewed in package, 500 miles per package, with minimum renewal of 1 package.
  • Renewed bonus miles are valid for 12 months from the original expiration date before the renewal is made (If the renewal miles are the sum of multiple expired mileage packages, a 12-month period will apply for each package)
  • The renewed bonus miles are not valid for tier qualifying and non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • VND 100,000 for  500 miles (Price is in Vietnam and does not include VAT), or
  • USD 5 for 500 miles (outside Vietnam)

How to Extend Bonus Miles

  • Option 1: Log in to your Lotusmiles account and perform online mile renewal
  • Option 2: Perform at Vietnam Airlines branch

- Fill in the Mileage Extension Request.

- Apply and pay for miles extension at Vietnam Airlines branches.


Reinstate bonus miles

  • Members can revalidate the bonus miles that have expired 6 months before the revalidating date.
  • Package transactions, 500 miles per package, at least 1 package can be revalidated.
  • The new validity of the bonus miles is 06 months from the date of successful transaction and rounded to the last day of the 6th month.
  • The recovered miles are not valid for tier qualifying and non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • USD 5 for 500 miles (outside Vietnam)

How to Reinstate Expired Miles

  • Option 1: Log in to your Lotusmiles account and perform online mile reinstatement
  • Option 2: Perform at Vietnam Airlines branch

- Fill in the Mileage Reinstatement Request.

- Apply and pay for miles reinstatement at Vietnam Airlines branches.
