Notes:

• Only applicable for flights operated by Vietnam Airlines and the ticket number started with 738.
• Transit service is only available on certain routes, booking classes and tour code. The ineligible class and limitation of routes with tour code can be found here. When the outbound and inbound booking classes differ, the most restrictive rule will apply. Please contact Vietnam Airlines branch office before purchasing ticket.
• In case the place of issue and the country of departure are not the same, TWOV (Transit Service) conditions of departure will be applied.

The transit service applies to tickets issued from June 19, 2023.

Notes:

HANVS/SGNVS: not applicable to overnight flight connecting.

HA1/HA2/HA3/HA4/HA5/HA6/HA7/HA8/SG1/SG2/SG3/SG4/SG5/SG6/SG7: the full service includes tour/hotel and visa fee (if applicable).

Transit service is free.

Passengers with long connecting periods at Noi Bai (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) can enjoy transit tours or transit visas at these airports with the following minimum connection time:
• 02 hours for Vietnam domestic itineraries and use transit visa services;
• 08 hours at Noi Bai Airport and 06 hours at Tan Son Nhat Airport for city tour services.

The minimum time required to book the service (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Vietnamese public holidays) is as follows:

• At least 08 days before the flight departure time for passengers who are required to obtain a transit visa;
• At least 72 working hours before the flight departure time for passengers who are exempt from a visa.

Passengers register for the service by filling in all required information on the Request Form for Free City Tour Service and sending it via email to a Vietnam Airlines Branch. We will get back to you once the service has been approved.
