Bicycles and sizeable baggage
Before departure, passengers need to fully prepare the necessary documents required for flying from Vietnam to international destinations, such as air tickets, valid passports, and forms of identification. In addition, passengers flying from Vietnam to Taiwan should be aware of the following document requirements.
Visa
Vietnamese citizens need a valid visa (visa or e-visa) to enter Taiwan. In this regard, e-visa is a convenient method of applying for an entry visa for tourists with a maximum stay of 14 days.
General visa

E-visa
Passengers who are citizens of Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos who meet the following requirements can apply for an online e-visa entry permit.
- The passport must be valid for at least 6 months (from the date of entry into Taiwan);
- They must have flight or train tickets for their return or next destination;
- They have never been foreign workers in Taiwan;
- They have no record of violating Taiwanese laws or regulations.

Entry declaration form
Foreign visitors to Taiwan must declare immigration-related information in advance, except for:
- Taiwanese resident cardholders
- People holding residence cards, alien residence cards, and diplomatic cards
There are two ways to declare entry to Taiwan:
The arrival card will be distributed and filled out during the flight or at the arrival airport.
Online Arrival Card: Passengers are kindly requested to visit the online declaration page to complete the arrival declaration prior to entry.
Cash regulations
According to regulations, if you enter Taiwan with cash worth TWD 100,000 or more, you must disclose it to customs.
Pet regulations
Passengers bringing pets to Taiwan should check the FAQs on bringing dogs and cats to Taiwan for further information and prepare all relevant documentation before departure.

Taiwan has very tight regulations for bringing food, meat, or plants into the country. Passengers should visit the web pages below for more detailed information before departure:
