How to change tickets
If a passenger has purchased a flight ticket on Vietnam Airlines' website/app but cannot take the flight according to the original schedule and wants to change the ticket (including changing itinerary, flight, and class of service), the passenger can select the following forms.

Submit ticket exchange request to Vietnam Airlines
Passengers submit a request to Vietnam Airlines at Ticket exchange request form. To avoid noshow charges, passengers should exchange for a new flight at least 03 hours before the departure time of the former flight.
Exchange tickets via the Vietnam Airlines website/app
General conditions
The ticket exchange function on Vietnam Airlines' website/app only applies to tickets that meet the following conditions:
- Tickets were purchased on the Vietnam Airlines website or app;
- The fare includes exchangeable conditions;
- Only exchange for a new itinerary/ticket type at an equal or higher fare. Passengers pay for the fare difference (if any);
- Only exchange for the same itinerary type (one-way or round-trip);
- The exchange fee is not refundable in any circumstances;
- Ticket exchange period: before the flight date;
- For special cases, please contact the Contact Center or submit a request to onlinesupport@vietnamairlines.com.
Notes: For reservations with under-2-year-old infants, please submit your ticket exchange request to onlinesupport@vietnamairlines.com.
Instructions on ticket exchanges
Passengers can select one of the following options:
- Actively exchange tickets under "Manage Booking" - "Post-sales help" - "Exchange flights" on the Vietnam Airlines website/app. Please, learn more about Ticket exchange instructions on the website and Ticket exchange instructions on the app of Vietnam Airlines.
- Submit a ticket exchange request using the Ticket exchange request form.
