Vietnam Airlines Supports People in Ha Tinh and Thanh Hoa Provinces in Overcoming Flood and Storm Damage

Vietnam Airlines representatives traveled to Thanh Hoa and Ha Tinh, two provinces heavily impacted by recent storms and floods, to present each province with VND 500 million (approximately USD 20,000) in relief aid to assist local people in recovering from the disaster’s aftermath.
On the afternoon of November 10 in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam Airlines presented a VND 500 million donation to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the committee, expressed sincere gratitude to all Vietnam Airlines staff and employees for their solidarity and compassion toward those in disaster-hit areas. She noted that the donation not only carried material value but also embodied the spirit of mutual support and the airline’s strong sense of social responsibility as a national enterprise.

On the morning of November 11 in Ha Tinh, a Vietnam Airlines delegation presented another VND 500 million to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong, Chairman of the committee, accepted the donation and expressed deep appreciation for the airline’s care and support. He affirmed that the province would promptly allocate the funds to affected households and communities to help them overcome their difficulties.
