Secure the best fare while you’re not ready to book
Vietnam Airlines recognizes that each journey is more than just a flight; it is also a carefully planned itinerary. However, airfare is always subject to change, and missing out on a great deal can sometimes make the experience less complete.
The secure-my-fare feature, which comes with outstanding benefits, will make passengers feel secure and provide them more time to prepare or adjust their projected schedule.
- Secure the appealing fare for a certain period of time;
- Secure the fare throughout the booking process on Vietnam Airlines' website/app for a small and transparent fee.
Applicable conditions, fees, and holding periods
The “Secure my fare” option applies to bookings on the Vietnam Airlines website/app and flights operated by Vietnam Airlines.
Vietnam Domestic Routes
Booking conditions and holding period:
- For a booking made 3 or 4 days before the departure date, secure the fare within 1 day from the date of booking;
- For a booking made 5 days or more before the departure date, secure the fare within 2 days from the date of booking.
“Secure my fare” rate:
- Economy super lite: 120.000 VND/passenger
- Economy lite: 100.000 VND/passenger
- Others: 80.000 VND/passenger
International routes
For itineraries between Vietnam and Europe, the Americas, and Oceania
Reservation conditions:
- For a booking made 7 or 13 days before the departure date, secure the fare within 2 days;
- For a booking made 14 or 29 days before the departure date, secure the fare within 3 days;
- For a booking made 30 days or more before the departure date, secure the fare within 7 days.
“Secure my fare” rate:
- Economy super lite: 30 USD/passenger
- Economy lite: 25 USD/passenger
- Others: 20 USD/passenger
For itineraries between Vietnam and Japan, South Korea, India, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong:
Reservation conditions:
- For a booking made 7 or 13 days before the departure date, secure the fare within 2 days.
- For a booking made 14 days or more before the departure date, secure the fare within 3 days.
“Secure my fare” rate:
- Economy super lite: 22 USD/passenger
- Economy lite: 18 USD/passenger
- Others: 15 USD/passenger
For other international itineraries
Reservation conditions:
- For a booking made 7 or 13 days before the departure date, secure the fare within 2 days.
- For a booking made 14 days or more before the departure date, secure the fare within 3 days.
“Secure my fare” rate:
- Economy super lite: 15 USD/passenger
- Economy lite: 12 USD/passenger
- Others: 10 USD/passenger
Notes:
The above rate applies to one passenger and does not include VAT.
The secure-my-fare fee is not refundable in any circumstances.
