Hanoi, 4 September, 2018 - Vietnam Airlines regrets to announce Typhoon Jebi in Japan had caused the temporary closure of Kansai International Airport from 1:00PM 4 September until 5:00 PM 5 September (local time). In order to ensure safety, Vietnam Airlines will not run services on all flights to/from this airport as follows:
- cancel 2 flights (VN330, VN331) between Hanoi and Osaka, which originally delayed from 3 Sept to 4 Sept. 2 flights on 5 Sept from Hanoi to Osaka, which have the same flight number VN330, VN331, will be operated after 4:00 PM the same day (Vietnam time)
- 2 flights between Ho Chi Minh city and Osaka to be rescheduled from 3 Sept to 4 Sept (VN320, VN321) and 2 flights on 5 Sept (VN320, VN321) to be operated after 2:55 PM same day (Japan time)
- We will inform passengers of further updates of these flights in upcoming news once Kansai Airport confirms to resume its operation. Passengers travelling to/from Kansai Airport during this period should regularly update weather condition and information of flights and reschedule travel plan accordingly. We appreciate your continued patronage and apologize for any inconvenience caused to affected passengers.
