Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27) is an occasion to honor the medical professionals dedicated to public health, as well as the "special healers" within the Vietnam Airlines Cabin Crew Division. Though they do not directly take to the skies, their silent devotion serves as a steadfast anchor, maintaining the peace of mind that allows thousands of flights to depart safely.
Amidst the non-stop operations of the National Flag Carrier, while the spotlight often shines on the radiant cabin crew in the passenger cabin, few realize there is a medical team quietly monitoring every breath of every crew member.
Currently, the Cabin Crew Division has three doctors and medical practitioners responsible for the healthcare of over 3,000 employees. This is a high-pressure task involving 3,000 unique health profiles and specific occupational demands—from those working continuous night shifts to staff preparing for their next mission immediately after landing.
In such a high-intensity work environment, the presence of the medical team is more precious than ever. These professionals do not just provide clinical treatment or monitor prescriptions; they are intrinsically linked to the mission of maintaining the safety foundation for every flight. Their thoughtful care and timely encouragement serve as a vital source of motivation, helping each flight attendant find relaxation and physical recovery to prepare for their next journey.
It can be said that without the partnership of the ground medical team, the "peaceful skies" of Vietnam Airlines would lack a vital link, an invisible yet essential guarantee for the sustainable development of the National Flag Carrier.
On the occasion of February 27, we extend our sincerest gratitude to the doctors and medical staff of the Cabin Crew Division. Your contributions, though quiet, are indispensable; though silent, they carry invaluable worth. May the "health guardians of the Golden Lotus family" always be filled with passion to remain a reliable pillar of support, joining our cabin crew in writing more safe and fulfilling journeys across every cloud.
