Spreading love through gifts from the 14th National Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions
In implementation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's guidelines on supporting trade union members and workers suffering from critical illnesses or occupational diseases through the program "Gifts from the 14th National Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions," the Vietnam Airlines Corporation Trade Union recently organized delegations to directly visit, encourage, and present gifts to afflicted union members and workers across its affiliated units.
This is an activity of deep humanitarian significance, demonstrating the Trade Union's care and concern for members and workers unfortunately suffering from critical illnesses or occupational diseases; at the same time, it spreads the spirit of sharing and companionship conveyed by the 14th National Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions to workers nationwide.
According to Decision No. 570/QD-BTV/CDTCTHK dated June 24, 2026, issued by the Corporation's Trade Union, 120 union members and workers suffering from critical illnesses or occupational diseases across affiliated trade unions received support totaling 137 million VND. This assistance was funded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor through the program "Gifts from the 14th National Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions."
As part of the program, representatives of the Corporation's Trade Union directly visited, encouraged, and extended caring sentiments to workers at various units. The presence and sincere words of encouragement from the Trade Union organization helped instill fortitude in the workers and their families, giving them greater strength on their journey toward treatment, recovery, and stabilizing their lives.
Every act of sharing, no matter how small, serves as a valuable source of encouragement, giving workers added faith to overcome illness and look forward to a brighter future. The program carries not only material support value but also clearly demonstrates the role, responsibility, and care of the Trade Union organization in accompanying and looking after the lives of union members and workers.
