What should I do to read newspapers with the PressReader app?

You can perform the following steps:

1. Visit the Vietnam Airlines app, swipe up to open the bottom toolbar, and select “On-board services”.

2. In the “On-board Services” window, select “PressReader App”, enter Reservation Code, Last Name, and Departure as the information on the flight ticket, then click “Confirm”.

3. The screen redirects to the PressReader app interface or redirects to the app store to download PressReader (if you have not downloaded the app).

You can read online on the PressReader app or download publications to your phone/tablet to read on the plane.

Vietnam Airlines offers two order meal services as follows:

1. Business Class meal ordering: free of charge

If you wish to cancel the Business Class meal order, you can contact the Contact Center at 1900 1100 (for calls within Vietnam) and +84 24 38320320 (for calls from outside Vietnam), or send an email to telesales@vietnamairlines.com for assistance.

2. LotusDeli meal ordering: charged

The fees paid for LotusDeli meals are non-refundable.

What flights can I book meals in advance?

Passengers can order meals in advance for flights departing from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City to Frankfurt, London, Paris, Melbourne, Sydney, and San Francisco through the Vietnam Airlines website, mobile app, or by calling the Contact Center at 1900 1100 (for calls within Vietnam) or +84 24 38320320 (for calls from outside Vietnam) or emailing telesales@vietnamairlines.com.

Service booking must be made at least 36 hours before departure.

Are the seat amenities different between service cabins?

Service cabin seat amenities vary by aircraft and configuration. However, on the A320 NEO, Business Class seats are located in the first four rows (row 01) and have the same configuration as Economy Class.

What types of aircraft are in Vietnam Airlines' fleet?

Can I change or cancel the meals I ordered?

Passengers can change or cancel their pre-ordered items by following the instructions at www.vietnamairlines.com/vn/vi/buy-tickets-other-products/additional-services/paid-meal.

Purchases made immediately on board are final and cannot be replaced or refunded after exiting the aircraft, with the exception of defective merchandise.

What are the available payment methods?

For in-flight meal and beverage purchases, Vietnam Airlines accepts cash payment in Vietnamese Dongs only

For duty‑free sales, Vietnam Airlines accepts cash (VND, USD, AUD, JPY, GBP, EUR) and international credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, etc.), excluding CUP (China UnionPay) cards

Currently, the system does not accept QR codes or contactless payments.

What can I buy on a Vietnam Airlines flight?

Passengers can purchase duty-free merchandise (LotuShop) and food and beverages under the LotusDeli brand produced or distributed by Vietnam Airlines on their flights. However, the product range and quantity may vary by route, so passengers should contact flight attendants for more information. Notes: the duty-free sales service is available only on certain international flights.

Can I place an pre-order goods or meals before the flight?

Yes.

Passengers can pre-order duty-free items by emailing dutyfree.psd@vietnamairlines.com at least 72 hours before departure and collect them on board (this service is only available for certain flights). We will process your information quickly and respond as soon as possible
