Vietnam Airlines Launches the “Tree Planting Festival – Spring of the Dragon 2024”

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Đặng Ngọc Hòa, emphasized that the Tree Planting Festival is an opportunity for all employees to come together and create a green, clean, and beautiful environment. It serves as a warm welcome to the new year filled with energy, enthusiasm, and joy, while also reaffirming the company’s strong commitment to environmental protection and its sustainable development goals.

Mr. Hòa expressed his confidence that the dynamic atmosphere of today’s ceremony would mark a positive start for the tree planting movement and for Vietnam Airlines in the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Immediately following the ceremony, Chairman Đặng Ngọc Hòa, CEO Lê Hồng Hà, and a large number of employees participated in planting banyan trees in the TCT headquarters garden.

Following the teachings of President Hồ Chí Minh, the Tree Planting Festival carries even greater significance in the context of Vietnam’s commitment to addressing climate change, striving for sustainable development, and gradually fulfilling strong commitments to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
