 Join hands with Operation Smile

Operation Smile is a humanitarian organization that provides free surgery to children born in underdeveloped nations with cleft lip, cleft palate, or craniofacial deformities. During its more than 32-year history, the charity has treated over 62,000 patients for free, delivering smiles and a better future to Vietnamese children.

Throughout 2023, the organization will carry out a total of nine surgery projects in Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Dak Lak, and Quang Ngai, with the goal of performing surgery on 1,100 children with cleft lip and palate.  Join hands with Facing The World

Facing the World is a leading British voluntary medical organization established with the aim of treating craniofacial deformities in children of the developing world. As a result of Agent Orange during the war, the rate of congenital craniofacial malformations in Vietnam is 10 times higher than that of other countries in the region. For more than a decade, Vietnam Airlines has supported the foundation's philanthropic activities by sponsoring airline tickets for medical professionals. 2019 marked the airline's outstanding efforts with specific commitments in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by five parties (including Vietnam Airlines, Facing The World, 108 Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, Hong Ngoc Hospital) to join hands to train 140 more doctors and perform more than 40,000 life-changing surgeries within the next five years in Vietnam.

Throughout 2023, the organization will carry out four general surgery projects in Hanoi, treating abnormalities of the head, face, neck, and eyes while also transferring technology and educating Vietnamese doctors and nurses. Join hands with Heartbeat Vietnam

Heartbeat Vietnam is a program in Vietnam that helps disadvantaged children under the age of 18 pay for heart surgery. Since 2006, Heartbeat Vietnam has funded over 9,800 heart surgeries for children in Vietnam, providing a better future for their families. The program's goal is to help disadvantaged children obtain prompt care so that no more children die while awaiting surgery.

With the slogan "Let your child get a heart check-up at least once in their life," the initiative will cooperate with hospitals and heart clinics across the country to carry out a series of screening activities throughout 2023. Free checks will be offered via mobile clinics for impoverished children with heart defects who have not yet been diagnosed in remote areas, while children found to have malformations after the examination will receive free heart surgery.
