Vietnam Airlines Adjusts Flight Operations Due to Typhoon Bavi

Due to the impact of Typhoon Bavi in Taiwan (China), Vietnam Airlines has adjusted several flights on 10 and 11 July to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

Vietnam Airlines will cancel flights VN578 from Hanoi to Taipei and VN579 from Taipei to Hanoi on 10 July, as well as flights VN570 from Ho Chi Minh City to Taipei and VN571 from Taipei to Ho Chi Minh City on 11 July.

In addition, flights VN586 from Hanoi to Kaohsiung and VN580 from Ho Chi Minh City to Kaohsiung on 10 July will depart one hour earlier than originally scheduled. Flights VN587 from Kaohsiung to Hanoi and VN581 from Kaohsiung to Ho Chi Minh City, originally scheduled for 11 July, will instead operate on 10 July.

To accommodate affected passengers, Vietnam Airlines plans to deploy wide-body Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft on selected flights between Vietnam and Taipei on 11 and 12 July, providing additional seat capacity.

The impact of Typhoon Bavi may also affect some flights to and from Japan, South Korea and China, resulting in further operational adjustments.

Vietnam Airlines sincerely appreciates passengers' understanding and cooperation as safety remains its highest priority.

Passengers travelling to or from the affected destinations are advised to monitor weather conditions and regularly check the latest flight information via the Vietnam Airlines website, mobile app and official Facebook page.

For assistance, passengers may contact the Vietnam Airlines Customer Care Centre at 1900 1100 (within Vietnam) or +84 24 3832 0320 (from overseas), or visit any Vietnam Airlines ticket office or authorized agent.
