1. How do I know which terminal to check in at?
Each airline will use different terminals. Passengers please check detailed information on the airport's official website or contact the airline directly for confirmation.
Example: Vietnam Airlines checks in at Counter F, Terminal 1. Recommend arriving at airport at least 2 hours 30 minutes before departure time to ensure sufficient time for check-in and security procedures.
2. What do I need to prepare if temporarily leaving Japan and wanting to re-enter?
If passengers are foreigners residing in Japan and plan to temporarily exit then return, they need to apply for re-entry permit from Japan Immigration Bureau before going to the airport.
Note: Currently no re-entry permit procedures at the airport. Passengers need to prepare complete documents in advance.
3. I want to bring animals or plants through customs, what should I do?
The airport has animal and plant quarantine counters in the customs declaration area. Depending on the type of goods, passengers need:
- For animals: Access the website of Animal Quarantine Station - Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan for specific regulations.
- For plants: Access the website of Plant Quarantine Station of the same ministry for import, export guidelines and list of prohibited items.
4. What transportation should I take to get to the airport?
To get to Nagoya Airport - Chubu Centrair, passengers can choose trains, buses, taxis or high-speed ferry. All converge at Access Plaza - Terminal 1. At Terminal 2, some bus routes and taxis also operate in parking areas or waiting halls.
