VIETNAM AIRLINES - RUN FOR LOVE IMPLEMENTING THE MISSION FOR THE COMMUNITY

Celebrating the 68th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2022), on the occasion of the expanded Hanoi Dragon Boat Swimming Festival organized by Vietnam Airlines and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. In cooperation with Hanoi, Vietnam Airlines organized the first race called Vietnam Airlines - Run for Love, with distances of 5km and 10km.

The race will take place on October 9, 2022 at West Lake area, Hanoi. Through the race, Vietnam Airlines wishes to promote the spirit of physical training, conquer challenges and increase love for sport, patience and endurance. In addition, the race has a humanitarian meaning, joining hands to contribute to the community when the ticket sales (BIB) - 150 million were donated to the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund - a fund of the State under the Ministry of Education and Training. Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. Over 30 years of operation, with the motto "Dedication - Transparency - Timeliness - Participation", the Fund has helped over 7.5 million children in special and difficult circumstances nationwide, especially giving priority to disadvantaged and needy children in many aspects of life.

On the afternoon of October 14, Vietnam Airlines and the Vietnam Children's Fund collaborated with the August 19 Hospital of the Ministry of Public Security to give gifts to the children of cadres and soldiers working at the August 19 Hospital that may have a fatal disease, with each gift worth 5 million VND, which is deducted from the ticket sales (BIB) at the Vietnam Airlines - Run for Love race.

Although the material value of the gift is not great, it is heavy with the love of kind hearts with the desire to share and give spiritual motivation to the children and their families. Despite many difficulties ahead, Vietnam Airlines believes that they will always be optimistic and full of energy in life because the warmth of humanity is always present.
