Corporation Office Youth Branch: Sowing Green Seeds from Small Actions
In celebration of the 95th anniversary of the Founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2026), on the morning of March 25, 2026, the Corporation Office Youth Branch organized a meaningful campaign titled: “Sowing a Green Day – Nurturing Hope.” This was a practical activity aimed at raising awareness about environmental protection and spreading a sustainable lifestyle right within the workspace.
During the program, youth union members proactively implemented an activity to collect used batteries and electronic waste (e-waste). Small batteries and broken components from office desks were systematically gathered to be transferred to specialized hazardous waste treatment units in compliance with standards, helping to minimize the risk of environmental pollution.
In return for this sense of responsibility, for every contribution of e-waste, union members and colleagues were invited to hand-pick small, charming succulent pots. These new green sprouts not only help brighten up working corners but also symbolize a commitment to accompanying Vietnam Airlines on its journey to becoming a “Green Airline.”
The campaign concluded with smiles and enthusiastic participation from a large number of office staff. Ultimately, every recovered battery is a promise for a green future, affirming the pioneering role and sense of responsibility of the Corporation Office youth toward the sustainable development of the community.
