A joint product between Vietnam Airlines and South Korea's domestic train

Vietnam Airlines offers a combined air-and-rail ticket option that allows passengers to conveniently travel between Incheon International Airport (ICN) and domestic cities in South Korea using the country's domestic rail system.

Applicable itineraries

Passengers can book up to 09 people on a single booking code for travel between Incheon Airport and the following South Korean domestic destinations (and vice versa):

• Dongdaegu (XDK);
• Gwangju-Seonjoeng (XNJ);
• Ulsan (XLF);
• Pohang (XPB);
• Busan (XMB);
• Yeosu-Expo (XYT);
• Mokpo (XKX);
• Jinju (XJX).

Train products

Vietnam Airlines tickets (ticket numbers beginning with 738) can be combined with rail products, including high-speed trains (Korail KTX) and domestic airport rail services (AREX Express Train or All-stop Train).

• Passengers traveling from Incheon Airport (ICN) will travel by the AREX Express Train or the All-stop Train from AREX Station to Seoul Station. Then transfer to the Korail KTX train to continue to your destination.
• Conversely, passengers traveling to Incheon Airport (ICN) use Korail trains to travel from their departure point to Seoul Station. Then transfer to the AREX Express Train or the All-stop Train to travel from AREX Station to Incheon Airport.

Purchase combined plane and train tickets

Step 1: Visit the Vietnam Airlines website at www.vietnamairlines.com

Step 2: Under Find Flight, select:

• From/To: domestic destinations in South Korea
• Departure/Return date
• Number of passengers

Step 3: Select the flight and train

Step 4: Fill in the passenger information

Step 5: Select seats and additional services (if any)

Step 6: Payment

After completing payment, passengers will receive an email confirming their itinerary with the booking code for the flight and train segments.

Checking in for train segments

Within 72 hours before the train departure time, passengers visit the website https://check-in.accesrail.com and fill in their full name, an e-ticket number, or Vietnam Airlines booking reference.

After checking in for the train segment, passengers will receive one pick-up number for the direction. For a round-trip itinerary, passengers will receive two pick-up numbers.

Passengers will receive an additional AREX Express Train ticket for the connecting service between ICN and Seoul Train Station. An AREX Express Train ticket can be used on the All-stop Train.

Exchange, Refund

Passengers should refer to Fare Rules when exchanging or refunding plane and train tickets.
