Hanoi, 21 February 2020 – Over the last few days, some news has been published regarding the rumored prohibition of permitted flights operating between Vietnam and Korea, Japan. Vietnam Airlines would like to clarify as follows:
As soon as the news emerged, Vietnam Airlines contacted the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam for verification. We want to affirm that this news is completely false.
Vietnam Airlines is still operating flights connecting Vietnam and Korea, Japan, as per the usual schedules and with full permission by the respective authorities. Should any change regarding operation take place, Vietnam Airlines will inform customers promptly via our website or other media channels.
