You can book and purchase tickets for infants under 2 years of age sharing their seat with an adult. The age of a child is calculated based on the departure date of each flight segment.

You may be asked to purchase a new ticket or be denied transport if the purchased ticket does not comply with the above regulation. Please find more details about the Special service for under 2-year-old infants.

Promo codes (also known as preferential codes or discount codes) of Vietnam Airlines are character sequences consisting of letters and numbers which offer cheaper fares when entered by customers upon searching for flights to purchase tickets. Promo code will be:

• (1) Sent to customers via email or mobile app/website notifications about offers from Vietnam Airlines or partners; or 
• (2) Updated on the homepage/Application of Vietnam Airlines.

No. The promo code should be entered when searching for flights or at the fare payment step. If you forget to enter a Promo Code, the normal fare will display instead.

Vietnam Airlines will not be responsible for any differences in ticket prices or fare conditions that arise when customers do not enter the Promo Code.

Vietnam Airlines accepts the following payment options: 

1. Book and reserve your seats for free within 12 hours, and pay later using applicable payment methods. 

2. Book at least 3 days before departure and pay a “secure my fare” fee: 

- From VND 70,000 per passenger (exclusive of VAT) for Vietnam domestic routes and USD 7 per passenger for international routes. 

- The above fee is not refundable. The “secure my fare ”fee applies to adults and over 2-year-old children and does not apply to infants under 2 years old.
