Vietnam Airlines would like to inform you of the updated information (on January 22, 2022) on the entry regulations to Germany as follows:

- Passengers over 12 years old must be certified negative for Covid-19 within 48 hours for antigen test or 72 hours for PCR test before entry.

- If within 10 days before entry, if the passenger has passed through a risk area, a negative certificate for Covid-19 must be issued within 24 hours for antigen testing or 72 hours for PCR testing. 

- If the passenger has passed through a high-risk area within 10 days before entry, the passenger must declare at https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de before entry and bring a confirmation letter to the airline when checking-in or to present upon entry. - After entering Germany, passengers must move to their places of residence for quarantine and are required not to have any guests during the quarantine period. The isolation time for each subject is as follows:

+ For people going through high-risk areas: 10 days (5 days for children under 12 years old). If the passenger can prove that he/she has been vaccinated or has recovered from the disease or the certificate is negative, send the documents to the authorities via the website https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de, the quarantine period will end as soon as it is sent. Please note that passengers are not tested for Covid-19 within 5 days after entry.
+ For people passing through at-risk areas: 14 days. In this case, the quarantine period will not end sooner even if the passenger proves that he has had enough vaccine doses or recovered from the disease or the certificate is negative.

- Transit information

   +To transit in Germany, passengers need a valid Germany visa.
   + Depending on the status of the system, passengers can through check-in or have to pick up their luggage and check-in again.
