Purchase excess baggage guide

To purchase additional excess baggage during check-in at Vietnam Airlines kiosks, passengers should refer to the steps below.

Step 1: Select the number of checked baggage

• If the number of checked baggage meets the free allowance, the passenger prints the baggage tag and boarding pass.
• If the number of checked baggage exceeds the free baggage allowance, please purchase additional excess baggage according to the instructions in Step 2.

Step 2: Excess baggage payment

The screen will display the number of bags to check in and the excess amount to be paid. Passengers click "Confirm and Pay Excess".

Step 3: Choose payment method

To pay for excess baggage, passengers choose one of the following methods:

• Pay later at Vietnam Airlines check-in counters.
• Use QR code scanning application on mobile devices. Passengers should note not to use the QR code scanning function on Online Banking applications.

After scanning the QR code on mobile device, passengers will be redirected to the payment page. Here, please select the appropriate payment method and follow the next steps until the end.
