Hanoi, August 5, 2019 – Due to ongoing protest in Hong Kong, flights to and from Hong Kong served by Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific will be affected.

Vietnam Airlines’ flights on August 5 will be operated but subject to delay, and transit flights via Hong Kong Airport will experience more difficulty. According to Hong Kong’s authorities, Jetstar Pacific Airlines will have to cancel 04 flights from Hanoi and Danang to Hongkon on August 5, namely BL160, BL161, BL164, BL165. Passengers with affected flights will be entitled to accomodation on flights of the following days at no extra costs.

We recommend passengers departing from Hong Kong Airport to arrive at the airport earlier.
