Vietnam Airlines Partners with WAAM 2024 Airway Management Conference

The WAAM (World Airway Management) Conference, held over two days on April 13 at Hong Ngoc General Hospital and April 14 at Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, attracted nearly 600 doctors in person and 1,000 online participants. The event featured high-practicality presentations, including topics such as airway management for laryngeal tumors, pre-surgical assessment of difficult airways, oxygen reserve effectiveness, difficult endotracheal intubation, and difficult airways in children.

The conference also saw participation from Vietnam Airlines' Flight Crew Group 919. The flight doctors gained valuable knowledge from the presentations and exchanges with leading experts in the field. Dr. Tran Thu Trang from Group 919 remarked, “We admire the dedication, love for the profession, and the engaging way the professors and doctors presented their sessions during the two-day workshop.”

By supporting the WAAM 2024 Conference, Vietnam Airlines has demonstrated its commitment and responsibility through the implementation of its partnership agreement with FTW and WAAM, signed on May 5, 2023. This collaboration has provided significant benefits for the employees within the Vietnam Airlines Group.
