A seamless and enjoyable flying experience is always Vietnam Airlines' top priority. However, a passenger's flight may be rescheduled owing to force majeure circumstances. Vietnam Airlines is introducing Self Re-accommodation feature to enable passengers to actively choose flights that fit their schedules, ensuring that each flight is a complete experience.
Self Re-accommodation
What is a Self Re-accomodation ?
For force majeure circumstances and to safeguard passengers' safety, Vietnam Airlines must adjust departure times earlier or later than scheduled. The Self Re-accommodation feature allows passengers to actively change flights to fit their schedules. Passengers are allowed to rebook once each time Vietnam Airlines sends a notification via mobile phone or by email. The time limit for passengers to rebook is 48 hours after receiving notification.
If there is no suitable flight, passengers may request a refund, which applies to tickets purchased on Vietnam Airlines' website/app and whose departure time is adjusted 4 hours earlier/later than scheduled.

Self Re-accommodation conditions
The self re-accommodation feature only applies to passengers who receive notification from Vietnam Airlines via text message or email. Passengers should be aware of the following conditions:
- Applicable in circumstances where Vietnam Airlines changes flight times more than 15 minutes to departure time.
- Applicable to ticket number 738 for VN flights (except flights with numbers between 2000 and 4999) departing during off-peak periods.
- Applicable to tickets with/without ancillaries or tickets with free special services.
- Passengers on domestic flights, domestic flights connecting to international flights, and international flights connecting to domestic flights may rebook flights within 30 days until 6 hours before the departure time of the previous flight.
- For international flights, passengers can rebook flights at least 6 hours before the previous flight's departure time.
- Passengers have not checked in for flights or have checked in for flights but have not checked in their baggage.
Notes: Passengers may be unable to rebook in some circumstances owing to technical reasons. Please contact the Contact Center at 19001100 (for calls within Vietnam) or (+84-24) 38320320 (for calls from outside Vietnam).
