On behalf of the Corporation's leadership, Mr. To Ngoc Giang extended his sincere regards and best wishes to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Medical Station on the industry's traditional day. The Deputy General Director recognized and commended the efforts, sense of responsibility, and dedication of the medical team in caring for and protecting the health of officers, employees, pilots, and workers of both the Flight Crew Division and the Corporation.
He requested the Medical Station collective to continue upholding the noble traditions of the medical profession; constantly cultivate medical ethics, improve professional qualifications, enhance management capacity, and provide effective proactive advice on aviation medicine. He urged them to strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing to the Corporation's consistent goal: ensuring safe, quality, and efficient flights.
On behalf of the Medical Station, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Trang, Head of the Station, expressed her deep gratitude for the attention from the leaders of the Corporation and the Flight Crew Division. She affirmed that this is a great source of spiritual encouragement for every member. The timely and thoughtful attention from leaders and colleagues provides the medical team with further motivation to overcome work pressure and continue improving their expertise.
Over the years, Flight Crew 919 Medical Station has maximized its resources, especially in the context of limited personnel, to successfully care for the health of over 1,100 pilots. Simultaneously, they have managed and monitored primary healthcare for officers and staff of the Corporation's and Flight Crew's headquarters, with a total managed workforce of over 1,400 people.
In 2025 alone, the Medical Station monitored health assessments and updated medical certificate validity for 1,186 pilot turns; conducted pre-flight health checks for 5,965 turns; and performed 1,341 drug tests at HAN, SGN, and DAD airports. Additionally, the Station maintained monitoring of pilot sick leave, examined and issued sick leave certificates, and provided guidance for treatment at the correct medical levels. They organized on-site examination, treatment, and medicine distribution for 1,490 turns; and handled numerous cases of first aid and emergency care for staff and pilots suffering from sports or daily-life injuries. The Station also completed the procurement of initial treatment drugs and supplied medical equipment on aircraft as regulated, while providing medical duty for cultural and sporting events of the Corporation and the Flight Crew Division.
Disease prevention and control at the office were implemented synchronously and effectively, including periodic spraying for mosquitoes and insects, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and supervising food sample storage at the Southern canteen. The Medical Station also organized annual periodic health check-ups for staff at both Northern and Southern offices, ensuring quality and efficiency. Through these examinations, the Station early detected several pathological cases for timely consultation and referral, contributing to health risk prevention and receiving positive feedback from employees.
Recognizing the achieved results, the leadership of the Flight Crew Division and the Corporation has shown special concern for the Medical Station through investments in renovating and upgrading workspaces, adding medical personnel, and creating conditions for the medical team to participate in management and professional training courses.
On this occasion, various flight squads and functional departments also visited, presented flowers, and sent their best wishes to the medical collective of Flight Crew 919 Medical Station at both Northern and Southern offices, demonstrating appreciation and the spirit of solidarity across the entire Division.
